Brian has been a professional tennis coach for over twenty years. His business, Tennis Fundamentals, has introduced thousands of children in N. Ireland to tennis since he founded it in 1994. (See www.TennisFundamentals.com) From 1996-2001 he was Tennis Development Manager of Belfast Indoor Tennis Arena and developed a coaching programme which accommodated 550 children & 85 adults a week on two of their four indoor courts, the other two being reserved for casual play. He has been National Director for Ireland of the Professional Tennis Registry (see www.PTRIreland.com) for over ten years, tutoring and testing coaches. In 2004 he co founded The Schools Tennis Project Ltd., a charity which promotes tennis in schools and is currently working on their behalf to develop the tennis programme at Wallace Park Indoor Tennis Centre, Lisburn. (See Facebook.com/WPTennis) Now in the veterans he remains a keen player himself and represented Ulster in the Over 35 inter provincials. He also works on developing products which will make it easier for other coaches to promote tennis including this website, 1-2-1Lessons.com.
